Tough 'None' Sponge

Tough 'None' Sponge

None sponges are plastic free alternatives to the usual disposable dish sponges. Made from eco-friendly cotton, hessian and bamboo, the tough sponge, is a harder-working version of the regular none sponges. Bamboo is naturally antibacterial and highly absorbent so perfect for cleaning with, the tough hessian outer layer makes the tough sponge great for scrubbing and scouring.

Wring out after use and leave to dry. Can be washed in the washing machine with your regular load, and left to air dry. These sponges are also fully compostable - simply cut up and add to your compost heap!

Tabitha Eve

South Wales, UK

Founder, Debbie Rees, started her own personal war against wastefulness and plastic pollution when travelling and diving the seas of Borneo. Confronted by a plastic island that was home to the precious sea life she had travelled so far to seek out she vowed to try and do her bit. She created products to replace her disposable kitchen ware, and soon others were asking for some in order to help to do their bit, and so Tabitha Eve was born, creating plastic free alternative products, from ethically sourced fabrics. Their studio opened in March 2018, working with super talented sewists, to make all their products by hand.

As a company Tabitha Eve aims to strike a balance between sourcing the most ethically produced raw materials and providing excellent quality items that are made to last. Using minimal and plastic free packaging, moving more towards organic materials wherever possible. They recycle and reuse as much of our studio waste as possible with a lot of our scraps going to local schools, playgroups, and a company called 1906 Monsters that makes 'worry monsters' from waste fabrics.
