A Woven Plane are Rachael and Sarah; two women who couldn't find socks and so, back in 2015, embarked on an adventure to find out why. The result was A Woven Plane, who now sell simple socks for women, in considered colours, made from beautiful materials and by skilled hands. Produced in a an Italian factory that has been in business for nearly 40 years, they are the socks they had been searching for.

A Woven Plane are committed to sustainable and respectful business practice, and seek to work with independent professionals, suppliers and retailers.

The socks are woven from we a merino wool - egyptian cotton blend. Merino wool is a fine and active fibre that keeps us warm in the winter and cool in the summer by moving moisture away from the skin. The specially woven yarn has been oeko-tex standard 100 tested, making it free from harmful substances and environmentally damaging chemicals.
