Bohemia are a close-knit team made up of craftspeople, designers, photographers, web developers and logistical geniuses across 6 countries. Based in the beautiful, historical city of Edinburgh and located near the port of Leith where we feel very much at home in this bohemian district renowned for it's thriving community of creatives.

Their philosophy of fair and ethical trade sees them working collaboratively with small, family-run businesses, who continue to produce crafts using age-old, time-honoured, traditional techniques. Bohemia are a bridge between traditional crafting communities and an audience who value authentic goods sustainably produced. Gaining a deep understanding of the techniques and processes of each craft is fundamental to the design process and many hours are spent in the company of their partners and artisans, quietly observing in awe of their skills.

Their aim is to elevate the status of artisanal craft and those who produce it, and to help create meaningful employment and see these crafts survive and the artisans flourish into the future.
