Paul Firmin and Niko Dafkos are the creative force behind Earl of East; a lifestyle brand that started out in 2014, inside an old shipping container in Hackney's Netil Market.

Inspired by their love for mid-century and future heritage products and creative exploration, Earl of East London developed their own unique range of scented soy candles inspired by their travels and memories. The candles are all produced by hand in small batches in London, in a handful of signature travel-inspired scents. Their brand is based on four pillars – Create, Curate, Collaborate and Community.

The pair (and team) now have two London shops, run candle making workshops across the world, and launched their debut book "The Scented Candle Workshop" last year.
