Handmade in small batches by Louise at Salix Moon Apothecary, this little tub of sunshine is incredibly soothing and nourishing for dry chapped lips. It glides onto the lips, softening and moisturising whilst creating a protective barrier from the elements.

Calendula officinalis, commonly known as pot marigold, is considered a mainstay in herbal medicine for the treatment of inflammation, to speed skin repair and as an antiseptic.

Rosehip seed oil is widely known for its anti-aging properties as it has been clinically tested and shown to help minimise the appearance of scars and fine lines.

Sunflower seed oil has excellent emollient properties that help lips retain their moisture.

Mandarin essential oil is a fruity, warming and sweet scent and is considered to be very calming and uplifting.

Louise sources the beeswax locally, from a small-scale beekeeper, in her home county of Essex. A byproduct, which when sourced locally it has a much smaller carbon footprint than the alternatives, making it a more sustainable option. It’s a wonderfully healing ingredient, it is naturally antibacterial and creates a protective barrier on the skin which aids skin repair.
