Wood Fired Bud Vase
Hand-thrown bud vase, by Marnie Waghorn. A beautiful curved shape, inspired by Albarello jars. These little vases are perfect for fresh or dried stems and look beautiful grouped together, or individually.
Made in Sheffield by Marnie, and reduction fired in a wood kiln in the Peak District.
The wood-firing process creates a beautiful richness, warmth and depth of colour and texture. The speckles are darker patches are created by the flames and ash deposits from inside the wood kiln, and therefore no two pieces are exactly the same.
