Hand-built stoneware large serving platter, by Eren Armitage. Handmade in very small batches in Eren’s home studio in Harrogate, in a warm toasted clay with a matt white glaze. These platters really are a beautiful addition to any table; with the hand of the maker very visible through the organic hand-built shape, glaze application and intricate hand-carved detail to the edges. This is a unique piece, made to treasure for many years to come.

The perfect size for serving a whole fish, joint of meat, canapes, or sharing plates. This platter works beautifully alone or next to our white wide rim plates, which are also handmade by Eren.

Taking inspiration from the rough and wild landscape of the Yorkshire Dales, Eren’s Japanese heritage and life in countryside surroundings entwine to create unique patterns and glazes that mimic organic textures.
