Weekend Recipes, is the brand new cookbook by Jess Elliott Dennison.
Like her previous book, the best-selling Midweek Recipes, it features easy-to-follow beautifully photographed recipes for all of Jess’s favourites things to cook. Weekend Recipes is for when you have that little bit more time to pause and connect with your kitchen and ingredients.
Simple, tasty recipes with chapters for Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Baking, Dinner and Pudding, alongside sweet little illustrations by Lilly Hedley.
Highlights include a sherbet-y lemon curd for spreading over toast in the morning; roast pepper, charred silverskin onion and Parmesan crostini for midday; and spaghetti and oregano meatballs followed by blackcurrant pavlova with lemon and bay custard for the evening.

Hand-carved olive wood small spoon/scoop. Made from sustainably sourced Kenyan olive wood.
Designed with a curvy handle, which is both visually pleasing and very comfortable to grip. It’s small size makes it the ideal miniature spoon for storing inside your coffee or loose-leaf tea jars. Also great for dips and condiments. This would make a great addition to our Harth Hot Chocolate too.
Aarven wooden utensils are hand-carved in a small workshop in Nairobi, run by one of the founders of the popular Maasai Market. Crafted from wild olive wood which is locally grown and re-planted continually.

HOUSE book, a collection of inspirations, ideas and patterns for the home, by Merchant & Mills.
A beautiful and inspiring book, which was born out of the success of the pieces made by Merchant and Mills for The Grove, which is their retreat house in Rye. Would make a lovely new home gift, or gift for a sewing fan.
The book contains patterns, alongside an exploration of the importance of handmade in the home. Carolyn, the founder of Merchant & Mills, shares the story of The Grove and the process of renovating and designing a home around Merchant & Mills fabrics. Read an interview with Victoria Barker of Faeger, an interior designer and expert in creating spaces that put handmade in the spotlight, and learn why Merchant & Mills champion natural fibres as not only a more conscious and sustainable option but also a practical and beautiful one.
Instructions for seven sewing patterns are included, with photographs of each pattern made up in Merchant & Mills cloth.

Hand-thrown ceramic spoon rest, made for us by Marnie Waghorn.
Made in Sheffield by Marnie, and reduction fired in a wood kiln in the Peak District.
The wood-firing process creates a beautiful richness, warmth and depth of colour and texture. The speckles are darker patches are created by the flames and ash deposits from inside the wood kiln, and therefore no two pieces are exactly the same.

Hand-carved olive wood sugar spoon, with an olive green and white batik handle. Made from sustainably sourced Kenyan olive wood.
Perfect for serving sugar, or small plates at the table. The long, sturdy handle also enables easy access to the bottom of tall containers making it versatile in the kitchen.
The handle has been finished with sustainably sourced cow bone, helping to reduce wastage and continue cultural traditions.
